A theatre showing the Epcot film would have been included in 1982's World Holiday Land.
Indian shooting gallery
A shooting gallery inside a western wagon; 'We'll have shooting galleries, but no ordinary ones. The shooting stand's liable to be a prairie schooner from which a kid can take pot shots at replica Indians, wired for sound, circling the wagon, yipping and yelling.'
Indiana Jones and the Lost Expedition
A hugely ambitious ride complex for Adventureland themed around Indiana Jones.
Jetpack Astro Orbitor
Planned circa 2008, this would have moved the Astro Orbitor back above the People Mover station and rethemed it so guests flew around suspended from jetpacks.
Kermit the Frog's Muppet Vision 3D
This clone of the Disney-MGM Studios attraction (using the earlier Kermit name rather than Jim Henson's) was planned to go in the Main Street Opera House, replacing Mr Lincoln as part of the Disney Decade. Later plans would have located it as part of the downtown area of Mickey's Toontown.
Lightkeepers
A nighttime light parade developed for Tomorrowland 2055.
Main Street Arcades
As early as 1982, plans were suggested to build two covered walkways on the outside of the Main Street shops to allow traffic flow between the Hub and Town Square even during parades. This idea was later realized at the Main Street USA at Disneyland Paris.
Mark Twain Tonight
Imagineers would have transformed one of the two Country Bear theatres into an animatronic rendition of Hal Holbrook's show, using a copy of the Mark Twain animatronic developed for the American Adventure at Epcot.
Mary Poppins ride
A 2600/hour capacity E-ticket planned for Fantasyland.

A Dumbo style ride themed to Mary Poppins. Planned for Fantasyland.
Mathmagicland
One of John Hench's earliest Tomorrowland ideas; a dark ride based on the classic Donald Duck short.

A 10 minute long 1982 boat ride in Bear Country, using Pirates of the Caribbean style bateaux, featuring a 10 foot, 8 foot and then 14 foot drop.

A walkthrough attraction displaying the weirdest and strangest objects from all over the world.
Mythia - Land of Legends
A log flume for the Mythia subland.
Nostromo
An interactive ride where guests would have searched for the missing crew of the Nostromo from the movie Alien.
Paul Bunyan's boot
A full sized recreation of the folk figure's shoe, which could be ascended and used as an observation tower over Frontierland.
Pirates of the Scareibbean
Imagineers may have planned on transforming Pirates of the Caribbean into a scary ghost pirate attraction.
Plectu's Fantastic Intergalactic Revue
An audio-animatronic musical show featuring a troupe of alien performers. Planned for Tomorrowland 2055.
Professor Marvel's Gallery
A hall of oddities for Discovery Bay using a Carousel of Progress show system.
reel ride
A Frontierland attraction, guests would have sat on mechanical horses infront of a projected western horse chase.
Return to Oz ride
A dark ride of 'America's first fairytale', planned for Main Street USA. Guests would have entered through the Main Street Opera House and boarded Gump vehicles through Oz. Cancelled when the movie was unsuccessful in the box office.
Robin Hood dark ride
Tony Baxter worked on a Robin Hood dark ride, but realised the film relied almost entirely on characters, not environments as needed for an attraction.
Rocket Ship 'Luna' ride
A simulated rocket trip to the moon that later became Flight to the Moon at Walt Disney World.
Rogue's Gallery
The original Pirates of the Caribbean - a walkthrough of wax pirate dioramas.
Scandinavian folklore attraction
A ride or show planned for World Holiday Land.
SpacePort X1
A futuristic complex designed by John Hench in 1967 featuring a rocket ship attraction, and rollercoaster sweeping across the outside of the building.
Spark Gap Electric Loop Coaster
A dizzying rollercoaster ride demonstrating the forces of magnetism to guests of Discovery Bay.
Star Tours podracer ride
An upgraded version of Star Tours including a race through the Podracing circuit on Tatooine.
Stitch Mountain
A Stitch themed overlay for Tomorrowland's Space Mountain.
Superstar Television
This attraction planned for Hollywoodland "will enable guests to step into scenes from classic television programs and take co-starring roles opposite their favorite TV stars."
The Black Cauldron dark ride
This ride would have multiple switching paths, but the disappointing box office takings of its source material cancelled the project.
The Great Movie Ride
A clone of the Disney-MGM Studios attraction, to be built in Hollywoodland. Planned as part of the Disney Decade.
The Island at the Top of the World
A zepellin ride for Discovery Bay in which guests would travel to a lost Viking settlement in the Arctic.
The Little Mermaid
This dark-ride clone of the never built Disneyland Paris attraction would have been built in Mickey's Toontown (then being called Mickey's Starland) next door to Muppet Vision 3D.
The Little Mermaid submarine voyage
A retheming of the Submarine Voyage as a journey through Ariel's underwater kingdom.
The Magnificent Muppet All-Star Motorcade
A clone of the Disney-MGM Studios parade as part of the Disney Decade.
The Nightmare Before Christmas ride
A dark ride based on Tim Burton's film.
The Timekeeper
A clone of the Disneyland Paris attaction 'De Temps en Temps', which was successfully cloned at Walt Disney World. Planned for Tomorrowland 2055.
The Tower
A looping rollercoaster themed as Discovery Bay's power plant: "a giant magnetic structure where the forces of magnetism are demonstrated in a most exciting manner". Also known as The Spiral, it later inspired the Spark Cap Electric Loop Coaster planned for Disneyland Paris.
The UFO Show
A ride in which guests, armed with airguns, would shoot at alien creatures.
Toontown Trolley
A simulated ride through the Toontown shown in the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, planned for Hollywoodland.
TRON lightcycles
This would have been an overlay of the People Mover, themed to the lightcycles from the movie TRON.
TRON shooting gallery
Planned in 1982 for Tomorrowland.
Uranium Hunt
An attraction featuring Geiger counters and actual low-grade uranium.
Voyage Thru Time
This 1982 time travel boat ride would have used relocated dinosaur animatronics from Primeval World, planned for Discovery Bay. Also known as Lost World Rapids, Journey Through Time, Travels Through Time and Voyage Through the Fourth Dimension.
Western Balloon Ascent
A hot air balloon Skyway attraction between Discovery Bay and Dumbo's Circusland.
Windmill ride
A windmill themed Ferris wheel.
Winnie the Pooh ride
A Winnie the Pooh dark ride was considered for Fantasyland back in 1976, to be located near Casey Jr.

A Circlevision 360 show planned for World Holiday Land.
Young Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
A stunt show based on the Young Indiana Jones television show, for the Festival of Fools arena. The huge circus tent would have covered part of the Disneyland Railroad, allowing a train chase (like at the beginning of the Last Crusade) right inside the tent. Operations however said it would be too disruptive.

Also known as Big Town, this New York themed land behind Fantasyland would have featured a large Broadway-style theatre and an old amusement park.
Chinatown
An oriental sidestreet to accompany Main Street USA.
Discovery Bay
An expedition themed land combining Jules Verne, steampunk and Victorian pulp adventure.
Dumbo's Circusland
A circus themed land featuring Circus Disney, a Pinocchio dark ride, a relocated Dumbo, hot air balloons and Mickey's Mad House.
Edison Square
A sidestreet to Main Street USA showcasing the influence of electricty on American homes.
Hollywoodland
A Hollywood themed land featuring Roger Rabbit, planned for the Disney Decade.
International Land
A multicultural land planned for the land between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland back in the mid 50s.
International Street
A land featuring various recreations of international sights and wonders.
Liberty Square
In 1976, a recreation of the Magic Kingdom land was considered for between Tomorrowland and Main Street USA, featuring the Hall of Presidents.
Liberty Street
A sidestreet expansion to Main Street USA themed as an American town circa 1776.
Lost Continent
An alternate name for Discovery Bay, possibly only refering to the raft ride.
Mark Twain miniland
Moving the Tom Sawyer Island rafts up to the canoe docks and retheming the Hungry Bear Restaurant as Aunt Polly's were two suggestions to create a Mark Twain miniland on the shores of the Rivers of America.
Mythia
A land inspired by the myths and legends of Greek and Roman folklore by Joe Rohde.
Tomorrowland 2055
An elaborate retheming and update of Tomorrowland planned for the Disney Decade. "Disneyland's exciting "land of the future" will get a totally new 21st Century look for the summer of 1994. Guest will be able to stroll along "Sky Walks" which will give the area a second story. The ever-popular "Star Tours" and "Space Mountain" attractions will be joined by several sensational new adventures!"
World Holiday Land
Considered in 1976, this land would have been located beyond New Orleans Square and would have showcased European holidays and culture.

A 1982 retheming of the Hungry Bear Restaurant as part of a proposed Mark Twain miniland.
Chinese restaurant
An oriental restaurant featuring the first (pre-Lincoln) animatronic of Confucius.
Clown Restaurant
A restaurant planned for Dumbo's Circusland.
Enchanted Tiki Room Restaurant
Before being a show, the Enchanted Tiki Room was intended as a restaurant with singing birds above the diners.
English pub
A British themed restaurant planned for World Holiday Land.
French Sidewalk cafe
A French cafe planned for World Holiday Land.
glacial cavern restaurant
Pitched in the 90s, a restaurant to be located physically inside the Matterhorn.
New Orleans Square steakhouse
A steakhouse was planned for New Orleans Square in 1982.
The Model Works
A shop selling Disney orientated scaled reproductions, planned for Discovery Bay.
Ziegfeld restaurant
The Broadway impresario gave inspiration for a musical themed restaurant for the never built Big City USA.

Early names for this attraction included 'Adventures in the Micro World' and 'Trip Through a Drop of Water'
Alice in Wonderland
This attraction would have originally been a funhouse style walkthrough. Guests would have been given free Eat Me / Drink Me soft drinks and cookies before moving to the next room where their size would have changed.
Frontierland
In 1976, thoughts were given to renaming the land Westernland, and redoing the entrance fort with Golden Horseshoe style architecture.
Grand Canyon diorama
1982 plans called for the taxidermy animals to be replaced by animatronics.
Haunted Mansion
This ride started out as a walkthrough, and was first considered for Main Street USA. Later backstories included pirates ghosts, cursed boat captains and even the Sleepy Hollow-inspired Headless Horseman.
Main Street Opera House
The 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea walkthrough was considered for this building, along with a small cartoon studio and motion picture museum.
Matterhorn Bobsleds
Walt originally wanted the bobsleds to be free moving in channels rather than on a track, but it proved too dangerous.
Mickey's Toontown.
Mickey's Toontown was originally known as Mickeyland.
Monorail
Original designs indicated a pod shaped monorail which would have run under the track, hanging from the beam, rather than on top.
Pirates of the Caribbean
This ride started out as a walkthrough wax museum called the Rogues Gallery, but got progressively more ambitious.
Splash Mountain
Splash was originally going to be called Zip-a-dee River Run, but was remarkably renamed after the Daryl Hannah movie, Splash.
Storybook Land Canal Boats
The patchwork flowerbeds were originally meant to have a large giants head and feet sticking out either end like a quilt.
